PHARMACIE, founded by Rick Curtis, a Stumptown Coffee Roasters enthusiast from Portland, Oregon, realised his dream of opening a roastery in the southeast of England. Inspired by Stumptown's 'drugs' sign and a vintage French sign, PHARMACIE proudly represents coffee as a carefully balanced 'drug.' After years of running coffee shops in Brighton, Hove, and Kemp Town, Rick seized the opportunity to open PHARMACIE in Lewes in 2021, located in a stunning 1800 sq ft warehouse with picturesque views.
The roastery offers a sensory experience with the aroma of fresh green beans roasting alongside sea air from our local coastline and hop scents from Beak Brewery next door. The industrial space features a GiesenTM roaster managed by head roaster Carola, ensuring consistent roasts and a kaleidoscope of flavours.
Open every day, PHARMACIE is a roastery, café, shop, art gallery, and training academy. With space for 50 coffee lovers, free parking, and a dog-friendly atmosphere, it provides a great customer experience.
PHARMACIE also supplies coffee to top establishments across the UK. Open 7 days a week.
