The inception of The Milk Shed stemmed from the desire of its sister company, The Flour Pot, to have greater control over the quality of coffee they served. The Flour Pot is a renowned bakery with 10 cafes across Brighton, and has been a beloved establishment in town for over a decade, celebrated for its artisanal creations.
Coffee roasted at The Milk Shed exclusively meets specialty-grade standards, ensuring that coffee producers receive higher prices compared to commercial-grade coffee. The Milk Shed collaborates closely with importing companies that prioritise sustainable practices and the well-being of coffee producers. They firmly believe in securing a safe and prosperous future for both coffee producers and the coffee plant itself.
