Vios in Brighton is a family-owned café, run by two brothers, Philippos and Constantine, who grew up in Athens, originally from the island of Chios. Open daily, with extended hours on Saturdays, they offer a blend of brunch and coffee alongside Mediterranean meze and alcoholic beverages.
In the morning, you can expect a variety of brunch options, including smashed avocado on toast, fluffy pancakes, and nourishing yogurt bowls. As the day progresses, the menu transforms into a selection of Mediterranean sharing plates. Reflecting their heritage, Vios features liquor masticha from Chios and the traditional Greek spirit ouzo, complemented by a Mediterranean wine selection and locally brewed beers from Brighton Bier and Unbarred Brewery. Their coffee, sourced from Area 51, a roaster in Athens, pays homage to their roots and underscores their commitment to provenance. They’re also Partnered with local bakery Real Patisserie, based in Brighton, ensures freshness and quality.
