Alfriston Cabins
These self catering stays which include two cabins in the woods and a shepherd hut set in an apple orchard, can be found in the idyllic village of Alfriston. The cabin hosts, Mandy and Darran, have committed to making their small family business a place to reconnect with nature, with areas to cook outside using fire pits, relaxing in a hammock under the stars or exploring the South Downs National Park for its scenery and wildlife. They hope to create long lasting memories for guests, whilst also growing vegetables on the site, keeping farm animals, enhancing the wildlife and living off the land. By homesteading and becoming a carbon neutral business, they are doing their bit to contribute to the restoration of the world we live in. Days out in the area include bike rides and paddle boarding (with local hire available) and the option of a vineyard visit to the nearby Rathfinny Estate. Two night stays or more can be upgraded to include an on-site wood-fired hot tub experience.
