Payment Options and Contract Terms:
Annual Subscription:
Fee: £540 per year.
Renewal: This subscription automatically renews every 12 months.
Refunds: The annual subscription fee is non-refundable.
Adjustments: Sussex Stories reserves the right to adjust the fee after the initial 12-month period. Members will receive advance notification before any changes to the renewable contract.
Flexibility:
Experience flexibility with our spread-the-cost options, allowing you to budget your membership fee over the year.
Contract Renewal, Refunds, and Adjustments:
All payment options, including annual and spread-the-cost, are subject to automatic renewal every 12 months.
The refund policy and the right to adjust the fee after the initial 12-month period apply to both annual and spread-the-cost options.
Members will be notified in advance of any changes to the renewable contract.
Advertising Approval: Sussex Stories reserves the right to review and approve or reject your application at our sole discretion. Our decision will consider factors such as brand alignment, target audience, and suitability for our Platform. Our decision is final and binding.
Content Upload: Upon signing up and providing the required content, Sussex Stories will promptly upload your brand's online profile within two weeks. Our goal is to ensure an efficient process to showcase your brand and begin promoting it to our engaged audience.
Content Accuracy and Responsibility: You represent and warrant that all information provided for advertising is accurate, up-to-date, and doesn't infringe upon third-party rights. You are solely responsible for the content you provide and must promptly notify Sussex Stories of any necessary updates.
Professional Images: Sussex Stories requires professional images for advertising purposes. You must provide high-quality, professionally taken images that accurately represent your brand or identity. We reserve the right to request image revisions or reject images that don't meet our quality standards.
Content Sharing and Engagement: You are responsible for sending your content to Sussex Stories. We also encourage active engagement with your online profile, including sharing it on your social media platforms and participating in related content.
Use of Online Profile: Your online profile will be displayed exclusively on the guide aspect of our website. Any other use of the content is at the discretion of Sussex Stories.
Image Usage: By providing images, you grant Sussex Stories a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, distribute, and display these images across our Platform and promotional materials, both online and offline.
Compliance with Laws and Regulations: You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards regarding your online profile and provided content. You must not engage in any unlawful, deceptive, or misleading activities.
Online Profile Modifications or Removal: Sussex Stories reserves the right to modify or remove your online profile at any time and for any reason. We value transparency and will make reasonable efforts to notify you in such instances. Additionally, brands can request modifications to their online profiles if there are updates or changes to their brand information that are deemed necessary. We will work collaboratively to accommodate such requests whenever possible. Please note that refunds are not issued upon termination.
Intellectual Property: You confirm that you have the necessary rights, licences, or permissions to grant Sussex Stories a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, distribute, and display your online profile content for the purpose of promoting and displaying your profile.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sussex Stories, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from or related to your online profile.
Termination: In the event of termination, initiated by either Sussex Stories or you, your online profile will be promptly removed from the Platform. Please note that refunds are not issued upon termination.
Payment Options, Contract Renewal, and Cancellation: When you subscribe, the annual subscription fee is £540. This subscription automatically renews every 12 months and is non-refundable. Sussex Stories reserves the right to adjust this fee after the initial 12-month period and will provide advance notification at least 2 months ahead of the renewable contract date. Users may also cancel their subscription by providing notice at least 2 months before the renewal date.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction: This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the relevant jurisdiction. Any disputes related to this Agreement are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the relevant jurisdiction.
Privacy and Data Handling: Sussex Stories is committed to protecting user data and privacy. In the course of advertising, Sussex Stories may collect and process personal information. Details regarding the collection, use, and protection of user data can be found in our Privacy Policy. We adhere to data protection laws and regulations to ensure the security and confidentiality of user information.
Disclaimer of Liability: Sussex Stories is not responsible for any losses, damages, or liabilities incurred by users as a result of advertising on the platform. Users are encouraged to conduct due diligence and assess the suitability of the advertising service for their needs.
Termination by Sussex Stories: Sussex Stories reserves the right to terminate an advertising agreement under certain circumstances, such as a breach of our terms and conditions. In such cases, Sussex Stories will notify the user of termination and provide reasons for the action.
Force Majeure: Sussex Stories recognises that unforeseeable circumstances (force majeure) may occasionally prevent us from fulfilling our obligations under the agreement.
