Tack Barn
Tack Barn is an environmentally-sound, self-catering bolthole for two that’s as firmly rooted in Sussex as the small woodland that surrounds it.
The bright and lofty rooms have french windows opening straight onto the wrap-around deck, leading out to the woodland and pond. There is an outdoor dining space for balmy days and a fire pit for more chilly ones. Or snuggle down on the sofa in front of the wood burning stove.
It's within easy reach of the villages, vineyards and tap rooms that you’ll want to visit while you’re there and pretty Lewes is nearby. The area is rightly famous for its landscapes - you’re close to the South Downs and the Seven Sisters Cliffs. Or perhaps you’ll visit for the art at Charleston or Farleys Farmhouse - all within 10 miles.
From the trug that’s left for you to collect garden veg to the mug you’ll drink your tea from, this place is as sustainably Sussex as self-catering can be.
