Housed in the bustling Source Park, Wavey Bar offers a taste of modern European dining in Hastings. Run by Polish duo Misha and Kacper, who bring over a decade of London hospitality experience, this intimate eatery is a showcase of local produce with a creative an innovative edge.
Kacper, a chef with nearly 20 years in esteemed kitchens like Llewelyn’s, Forza Wine, and Roka, crafts a weekly-changing menu that blends European flavours with a contemporary twist. Misha, with her creative background, manages service, wine selection, baking, and marketing, ensuring every detail enhances the dining experience.
Wavey Bar prioritises quality sourcing - fish comes directly from local fishermen, produce from Stonelynk Organics, and mushrooms from Basil Fungi Farm. With dishes inspired by European cuisines, occasional Polish specialties, and ingredients foraged or shared by friends, the chalkboard menu always promises something fresh and unique.
Since opening in May 2023, Wavey Bar has earned a loyal following, with diners praising it as some of the best food in Hastings. Though they’ll be moving from Source Park next year, this gem continues to captivate with its inventive approach and welcoming atmosphere.
