Trenchmore Farm

Trenchmore Farm is a small family run farm in Cowfold, West Sussex. Andrew, his daughter Rachel & their stock manager Nev look after a herd of 450 cattle, 150 hens, a 4-acre cider orchard and grow small amounts of barley & wheat. They supply their Sussex Wagyu beef, orchard eggs & Silly Moo Cider to some of the best pubs and restaurants in the county including Gravetye Manor, Restaurant Interlude and The Bell in Ticehurst.

Trenchmore set out to grow the tastiest food, whilst keeping the environment and animal welfare very much in mind. they follow the principals of regenerative agriculture to improve the soil and ecology on their small patch of the Sussex countryside. The cattle & hens eat the grass and apple pomace, the straw from their arable is used to bed them and then their muck is spread back on the fields to help increase the nutrients and carbon content.

You can visit Trenchmore HQ every Saturday for a pint of cider and a bite of something to eat - or even just a nosey around the farmyard to see where the magic happens!
