Mend House

Saskia founded Mend House in 2020, with a mission to reduce waste within the fashion industry. Mend House is a series of Brighton based repair programmes, specialising in repairing sentimental items. Mend House offers repair services for clothing/textiles and silver jewellery and runs small group sessions where Saskia teaches you how to fix up and revitalise your favourite clothes. The clothing repair workshops will equip you with vital repair skills in a calming and holistic environment. Saskia has a background in Fashion Design and Business Studies from the University of Brighton and has worked for an established menswear designer for the last three and a half years, running garment and accessory production for mainline, special projects and e-com.
